Fredericksburg 2010
So, I’ve always wanted to go to Munich during Ocktoberfest, but haven’t been able to so far. I almost made it last year (I was in Munich in November), but I digress. This year, we decided to hit Ocktoberfest at an authentic German town in Texas called Fredericksburg. Sam, Neethu, and I drove from Houston. Vicky and his parents met up with us at Fredericksburg. We did the whole Ocktoberfest thing on Saturday afternoon till late at night and was a lot of fun. Sam, Vicky, baby and I stayed at Kerville.
The next day we hit Tranquility Park at Kerville, and then drove back to Fredericksburg to hit up a peach farm where the owner makes peach cobblers from scratch… they were delicious! Fredericksburg has a lot of wineries, so we stopped at one of the nicer ones and had a bottle of wine outside after the wine tasting since the weather was so nice. Check out all the pics below!
